- Find an attorney ready to go the distance. Some places are more than willing to make settlement demands on your behalf but will bow out if/when it becomes necessary to prepare for and go to trial. Don’t be swindled by “settlement sweatshops.” Not only will they not fight for you till the end, but it could potentially hurt your case.

I wish I knew what I know now about legal battles but will never be ‘prepared’ for another. Fingers crossed I never have to be faced with one again. That said, I know exactly where I will turn should the occasion arise.”
